001. What are NGC App 2023 and related web services?

i. NGC APP-2023 is developed for the convenience of members to reduce human interaction, effective service and transparency. It covers a range of services that include the following:

002. Who is the approving authority of this project?

The NGC Management Board has approved this project based on previous recommendations.

003. Why does every visitor require a card or SmartCard to avail of services?

Every visitor be it an NGC Member, spouse, dependent, JTP Trainee, Reciprocal member, Green Fee player or any other incidental authorized visitor needs to have a card, maybe a day card which is meant for usage till the end of the closure of the club

004. What is a card or SmartCard?

SmartCard is the card which is issued to every member/spouse member/registered dependent member by the club. It is also referred to as a Membership Card.

005. What is the difference between MasterCard and SmartCard?

MasterCard is a SmartCard which is possessed by the primary member, which is as same as the SmartCard.

006. Why do I need to revalidate the SmartCard?

The present SmartCard is issued based on previous software systems, and the same needs to be registered and synchronized with the newly introduced software systems. That is why every SmartCard requires to be revalidated for effective usage.

007. What am I supposed to do with the card?

The card is an interface for recognition of members identify, and a tool to charge the amount into members membership card for their intended service provision and payment.

008. How my monthly billing is done?

Monthly subscription will automatically be debited to the account, the negative balance with surcharge will continue to be loaded by each month, and the same will be adjusted as and when the card is loaded. For example, in case if any member intends to avail the pool facility the same shall be debited to the card based on the opted program at the end of the billing cycle. Similarly, all the services which are being availed in the midst of the any month, shall be closed at the end of the month and shall debit the available amount from members card or shall stand as a debit entry with surcharges and will be adjusted against first instance of refilling or recharging of the card.

009. Am I allowed any credit in my Smart card?

We have infused an amount of Rs 30000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand Only) into all membership accounts of all members for convenience. This will be easier for the members to transact, as that also means every member has about Rs 30000/ credit. The same shall be withdrawn on 1.12.2023. The primary objective of extending the credit is to facilitate the members to honour their due date of the preceding bill which is 30.11.2023.

010. What is my credit limit?

As per the prevailing norms, the credit limit per membership is Rs 5000/- which is likely to be reviewed by the management board in the interim and the same will be announced before 1.12.2023 in case there is a revision in the credit limit.

011. Do I have to enter my details and my guests in the registers while entering?

No, all visiting members are to tap the Smart Cards on these POS machines that will be kept at the Main Entrance, Reception and Coffee shop to record the attendance of each member, so that, the traditional registers will be discarded, and long human queues will be eliminated. Accordingly, the cards will automatically be activated for the day, till midnight, or closure of the club.

012. How can I charge my Smart Card?

Members can charge through net banking, debit or credit cards, also through wallets, Pay-TM, Google Pay or UPI means. All electronic payments are enabled in this app. However, members can physically make the payments to their account by visiting NGC including cheques and cash (as per permissible limits)

013. How can I collect my SmartCard?

All active members that includes Primary, spouse and dependents have already collected their Smart Cards. Those members who have not collected their cards can collect the same from the reception.

014. I can send my guests with my Smart Card to avail of NGC services?

No, guests cannot visit the Club unaccompanied by members. In the event of guests visiting the Club with Smar tCards of members will be restrained entry into the facilities, and also may be debarred from further entries.

015. How NGC Reciprocal members will access the club?

All reciprocal members who are desirous of availing services at the NGC are to be registered online through NGC website with a standard set of documentation which requires to be approved internally within 24 hours based on correctness of the submission. All eligible guests shall be issued a VID, based on which day-card is issued to each visiting reciprocal member.

016. Will the Junior Training Program students use the club?

Yes, every JTP student will have an unique VID, and based on which a limited menu can be obtained from the coffee shop, and the golf huts.

017. How the Green Fee players will use the facilities?

Like the reciprocal registration process, the green fee paying players too are required to be enrolled through NGC website with due internal approval within 24 hours based on the correctness of submission of documentation a VID will be issued. A day card will be issued to all visiting guests.

018. What happens in case if I forget to get the SmartCard at the entry?

A temporary day card will be issued at the reception at payment of certain charges. Such member needs to await about 5 minutes for such an issuance.

019. Will I be allowed to sign for availing credit?

At present NGC does not allow any signing process, all the necessary permissible credit is being extended to members electronically.

020. How the senior Government officials who occasionally visit the club will use the facilities?

All visitors to NGC who are on official visit will be issued a day card based on service protocol or clear approvals from the competent authority.

021. Why each entrant is supposed to use the card even to enter the club house?

Every visitor is required to tap his/her card at the P.O.S machines which are strategically placed at various locations like Main entry, Reception and Coffee shop. This ensures attendance in real-time, and moreover, the tap unlocks the card for the electronic usage at various stations for the services for the day.
